چکیده
This study aimed to assess the strategy of supplementing commercial diet Nile tilapia juveniles with DL-methionine and soybean oil, in BFT culture tanks, by monitoring water quality, bioflocs composition, growth performance. The daily allowances were restricted 25% different levels (0 1) oil (0, 0.6, 1.2%) supplementation carried out, having delivery artificial as reference. tanks submitted feeding restriction exhibited lower concentrations organic matter, settleable solids total suspended solid water. did not affect centesimal composition bioflocs. combined use improved juveniles’ survival restriction. It was concluded that tilapia’s 1.0% 0.6% may prevent reduction fish performance when is allowed restrictively.

Effect of Different Levels of Dietary Supplementation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae on Growth Performance, Feed Utilization and Body Biochemical Composition of Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) Fingerlings
This study was conducted to evaluate the effect of different levels of dietary supplementation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae on growth performance, feed utilization and body biochemical composition of Oreochromis niloticus fingerlings. Four diets containing supplementation at levels of 0, 0.5, 1 and 2 g kg−1 were fed to fingerlings of Nile tilapia (5.01±0.21 g) in four replicate tanks twice ...
متن کاملBehaviours Associated with Acoustic Communication in Nile Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)
BACKGROUND Sound production is widespread among fishes and accompanies many social interactions. The literature reports twenty-nine cichlid species known to produce sounds during aggressive and courtship displays, but the precise range in behavioural contexts is unclear. This study aims to describe the various Oreochromis niloticus behaviours that are associated with sound production in order t...
متن کاملEffect of reducing 3.2% dietary protein level on the growth performance and immunity of Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus) with supplementation of multi amino acids
Reducing dietary protein content in fish feeds will reduce cost of production if growth performance can be maintained. In this study, we assessed the effects of reduced dietary protein content from 33.5% to 27.4% with ideal amino acids profile on the growth, immune parameters, intestinal microvilli length and total ammonia nitrogen discharge of tilapia. After 8 weeks of feeding, growth performa...
